EDMONTON VOCAL MINORITY | WAY OFF BROADWAY: THE SEQUEL
Royal Museum of Alberta Theatre, 12845 102 Avenue, EDMONTON
Edmonton Vocal Minority's Pride concert features the continuing story of the von Trapp family from the "Sound of Music". Actually, it is not the real story, it is EVM's slightly queer version of the story. Where are they now? Did Maria and Morticia Addams really elope? What did Kurt say to TMZ when they caught him on film wearing a dirndl to the local Walmart? Did Liesel's career as a cabaret singer really end with her singing Folk tunes at a Lesbian biker bar? What does RuPaul have to do with any of this?
All in good fun, with plenty of opportunity for the audience to join in the merriment. EVM's special guest will be Edmonton mezzo-soprano, Mireille Rijavec. Putting it all together and telling the story as only he could, will be the multi-talented Darrin Hagen.
TICKETS $15 | $12
