Mount Royal Kantorei | The Mozart Requiem with Arvo Pärt’s Berlin Mass

Join Mount Royal Kantorei and friends for a special performance of the Mozart Requiem, a mightyand much-loved classic from 1791. Also featured is Estonian composer Arvo Pärt’s Berlin Mass, a resonant yet often haunting minimalist work composed in 1990. Mount Royal Kantore iwill be accompanied by the Kantorei Academy Orchestra featuring several talented young musicians from Mount Royal’s Academy.

Luminous Voices | One Voice, Many Voices

In this final concert of 2014/15 season, Luminous Voices will take you on a journey through music for single voice and chant all the way to the current millennium with music written for double and triple choir. This concert will feature selections from Ildebrando Pizzetti’s Messa di Requiem and also Jonathan Dove's colourful Passing of the Year featuring pianist Cheryl Emery.

One Voice Chorus | Rainbow Connections

One Voice Chorus (OVC) presents Rainbow Connections, a pride-themed concert that celebrates all the affirming connections in our lives and communities! This final concert of OVC's 2014-2015 season is about connections of the heart. It's about the power of singing together. It's about who we love, about the things that are deeply important to us, and about how together we weave the fabric of our lives in ways that will nurture and sustain us, both as individuals and as a strong and vibrant community. For this concert, OVC will be joined by members of a gay-straight alliance (GSA) from a local high school. GSAs are student-led organizations that work to create positive environments for LGBTQ students.
