DONATING TO THE ACF
Funding for the ACF is generated from membership and program fees, private donations, grants and government funding.
Donations from our members and the community at large are a vital part of the organization's financial stability. In addition to accepting general donations, the ACF has developed 3 Sponsorship Programs to help individuals direct their financial gifts to the program(s) of their choice.

ALBERTA YOUTH CHOIR/ALBERTA CHILDREN'S CHOIR
Sponsor-the-Singers Program
The Alberta Youth Choir and Alberta Children’s Choir bring talented young singers together from around the province for a period of intense rehearsal and a performance with a renowned world-class conductor. Past conductors have included Maria Guinand, Bob Chilcott, Jean Ashworth-Bartle, and Leonard Ratzlaff.
The sponsorship amount for this program is the equivalent of one registration fee for the program — $295 for the Alberta Youth Choir and $175 for the Alberta Children’s Choir. Your sponsorship of this program will ensure its continued affordability for choristers.
Sponsors of this program will be recognized in the Music Conference Alberta program, the Alberta Youth Choir/Alberta Children’s Choir concert program, on our website, and in our magazine, Quires.
MUSIC CONFERENCE ALBERTA
Session Sponsorship Program
Music Conference Alberta is collaborative conference which provides musicians and music educators the opportunity to hone their skills, explore new research and repertoire, and connect with other musicians and music educators from around the province. In 2007 the conference boasted 61 sessions, 4 concerts, and a large trade fair.
Conference Session Sponsorships are $250. This goes directly towards covering presentation costs at the conference. Your contribution to this program will allow the ACF to continue to offer a wide variety of high quality sessions at our province’s annual music conference.
Sponsors of this program will be recognized in the Music Conference Alberta program, on our website, and in our magazine, Quires.
CHORALFEST SPONSORSHIPS
Choralfest is Alberta’s festival for choirs. Spanning 9 days and 2 cities, choirs from around the province will perform and workshop with some of North America's finest choral conductors and music Educators. Each of the component festivals -- Choralfest North, Choralfest South, and Choralfest Jazz -- also includes a Spotlight Concert featuring choirs who have given outstanding performances in the festival.
Sponsorships for Choralfest Jazz $200 and go directly toward evaluator and equipment costs. Sponsorship in this program will help to ensure that the ACF is able to continue to offer a non-competitive educational festival for all types of choirs.
