K-12 ARTS EDUCATION CURRICULUM FRAMEWORK
A draft (dated June 2009) of the revised K-12 Arts Curriculum Framework has been released and is available by following the link below. An online survey has also been created, providing an opportunity to respond to the proposed changes. We encourage everyone to carefully read the Curriculum Framework document and to complete the online survey (both links available below). In addition, please forward these links to all interested parties including school administrators, teachers, parents and students.

UPDATE
Alberta Education has annouced that the implementation of a new Fine Arts Curriculum will be delayed by 2 years:
- the K-6 Arts Education curriculum will now be implemented in 2014/2015
- the 7-9 Arts Education curriculum will now be implemented in 2015/2016
- the 10-12 Arts Education curriculum will now be implemented in 2016-2017

The Alberta Choral Federation has been serving Albertans for over 30 years. Always growing and evolving, the ACF strives to meet the needs of today’s choral community with proven and innovative programs and services.
The Alberta Choral Federation is a non-profit association of choral directors, teachers, choristers, and others with an interest in choral music. It was founded in 1972 to encourage and promote the understanding and appreciation of choral music by providing positive educational and artistic experiences.
The ACF endeavors to foster the organization and development of choral groups of all types, promote significant research and composition in choral music and advocate for support of the arts by all levels of government, business and community.
The Alberta Choral Federation is a valuable resource for advice and assistance: information on programming, administration, marketing; finding conductors, clinicians and adjudicators; singing and conducting opportunities for all levels of experience, plus educational and practical resources.
